Easter Craft Ideas… they’re Eggcellent!
The Easter holidays are fast approaching, which means your little poppets need entertaining for two weeks! Therefore, I like to think I have come to the rescue by scouring the internet for some nice and easy Easter Craft activities that can keep the family busy, hopefully on a budget and of course, all Forest School themed!
Leaf Easter Eggs
Now please remember to take only what you need, unless you are recycling as for many of us, Spring means tidying up the garden. This is a fun simple activity where leaves are cut into the shapes of Easter eggs, ready to be decorated with any crafty materials you have laying around.

Easter Egg Pebble Craft
Painting egg-shaped pebbles is, a fun and easy activity that could also brighten someone else’s day! I have been on walks many of times and discovered beautifully decorated pebbles waiting to be found and each time, I have found it very uplifting. I’m sure many people will be enjoying the bank holidays over Easter by being out and about, so why not hide some decorated pebbles for them to be discovered!

Nest Building
It is getting to that time of year when birds will be laying and new Spring chicks will be hatching from their eggs. Nest building isn’t the easiest of activities for birds, so this is a fantastic opportunity to allow children to share these experiences. Birds may also often take advantage of ready-made homes, so who knows you may have a real visitor to your nest.

Make a Leaf Crown
This brings together an exploration of nature but also gives children AND adults the opportunity to get creative with natural resources. Minimum resources are required for this fun activity, you could even end it with a cat walk show!
